Are you involved in the design, setup or use of laboratories?

On Wednesday 20 May 2026, site owner Poonawalla Science Park BV will make its meeting facilities available and will host a mini‑symposium organised by VCCN (Netherlands Contamination Control Society) at Utrecht Science Park Bilthoven (USPB). From 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., the focus will be on smart, future‑oriented laboratory design and air handling in laboratory environments.

How do you make the right choices when it comes to safety, functionality and future‑proofing? And how do those choices work out in practice?

During the symposium, you will gain insights into topics such as:

  • Laboratory engineering and design
  • Practical layout and daily use
  • Air technology and air handling
  • Application of biosafety levels (BSL) in design decisions

In addition, a user or project manager will share practical experiences, providing real‑life examples of what works — and what doesn’t.

The programme includes a sandwich buffet and a closing networking reception.

A maximum of 120 participants can attend, so please register in time.

The full programme and registration details can be found on the VCCN website.
